In-house mentoring and training for apprentices, young employees and refugees /
25% of all apprentices end their trainings prematurely, as the newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung outlined in early 2018, based on the most recent education report released by the German government. Young people and corporates are increasingly caught in misunderstandings. With the help of the ROCK YOUR COMPANY! (‚RYC!‘) mentoring program, however, the hotel chain Accor managed to decrease the drop-out rate from 30% to zero in just one year. Since 2015, RYC! performs in-house mentoring programs and trainings for young employees and refugees on behalf of corporate clients. The program builds on the experiences of the non-profit organisation ROCK YOUR LIFE! (‚RYL!‘), which successfully offers mentoring programs for youth from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds since more than 9 years. Due to the commerical potential of this offering for corporate clients, ROCK YOUR COMPANY! is now poised for scaling as an independent, for-profit enterprise (‘Gmbh’). To spin out the program from the non-profit RYL! gGmbH and to invest in sales as well as human resources, the RYL! gGmbH and ROCK YOUR COMPANY! teams are now seeking to secure growth capital from impact investors. The profits generateed in the commerical entity RYC! GmbH shall be used to finance the non-profit activities for disadvantaged youth in the future.
