The &#8216;RecySmart&#8217; patented system recognizes all types of packaging material in real-time thanks to acoustic techniques combined with AI algorithms. Candam&#8217;s solution increases packaging recovery rates by enabling easy and affordable &#8216;Return and Earn&#8217; scheme. The rewards for users are uploaded by brands, local businesses and the municipality through Candam e-commerce platform, which is totally free for them. &#8216;RecySmart&#8217; is proven to increase waste recovery rates by 20% and to reduce improper waste by 10%. Candam&#8217;s technology can also serve in &#8216;deposit return systems&#8217; and replace the costly and bulky machines that are currently in use at retailers.
