Impact Venture Snapshot: everwave

everwave shows how measurable impact and business growth can reinforce one another.

everwave intercepts plastic waste in rivers before it reaches the ocean. The company’s end-to-end plastic management system covers the entire value chain: from AI-powered waste detection and innovative collection boats and barriers through to sorting and recycling. On this basis, everwave issues fully traceable plastic credits that help companies meet their CSRD reporting obligations.

We supported everwave through a financing round combining mezzanine and equity capital, from sharpening the investment story and preparing materials to approaching the right investors and structuring and executing the round, including an impact-linked finance component with Roots of Impact and ESIIF. The result was a round with mission-aligned investors, designed to support the company’s next phase of growth. Since then, everwave has continued to scale, including through new sites in Cambodia. Overall, the company has collected 2,600 tons of plastic worldwide (June 2026).

What makes the case compelling, what the financing structure looks like, and how the collaboration unfolded: our Venture Snapshot tells the full story.
