Growth capital for Future Cooperative eG: Innovative solution to simplify sustainable consumption decisions based on a trustworthy sustainability rating /
More than 40 million people in Germany want to live more sustainably. However, the majority of people no longer trust the sustainability claims made by companies and are overwhelmed by the multitude of decision alternatives. With its “Future Maps” app, Future Cooperative eG is positioning itself as a particularly trustworthy guide for sustainable consumption decisions. The founding team has a strong track record in building (impact) start-ups. Future Maps is an innovative solution that allows users to find sustainable places in their neighbourhood easily and reliably. The specially developed sustainability rating system is designed to offer users reliability in their consumption decisions. As a cooperative, Future Cooperative eG has the potential to actively involve many people and build a particularly trustworthy brand. Even before the launch of the app planned for the end of 2023, the company has already secured cooperation agreements with sustainable pioneering companies, acquired its first advertising customers and signed a letter of intent for the integration of Future Maps into a leading search engine. FASE successfully supported Future Cooperative eG in raising a financing round to realise these growth opportunities.
