Growth Capital for Workeer

Recruiting platform for the scalable integration of international and refugee talents into underserved labor markets

Societal challenge and market

Germany is facing a structural labor shortage: by 2030, more than 5 million workers will be missing, and in 2025 alone, 1.26 million positions remained unfilled. At the same time, 1.81 million international and refugee talents in Germany are actively seeking employment but remain largely inaccessible through traditional recruiting channels. Bureaucracy, discrimination, and language barriers further limit access to the labor market.

Solution

Workeer complements traditional recruiting channels by systematically unlocking a hard-to-reach talent pool for employers. The platform combines pre-screening, matching, and active sourcing with seamless integration into existing HR processes. Workeer currently supports over 65,000 talents throughout the application process and provides direct access to a network of 400+ service providers — including language training, qualification programs, and credential recognition — helping reduce barriers and enable successful hires.

The team behind Workeer

The diverse founding team, Victoria Baumann, Karl Milos Liebich, Robert Enderlein und David Jacob combines more than a decade of operational experience in recruiting and migration with expertise in HR tech, recruiting sales, growth, and labor market integration. Their mission: to connect companies with international and refugee talent, contributing to both economic growth and social integration while addressing structural labor shortages.
